This property of shoes & leather goods shop Pedico in Geel is listed on the protected heritage list in Belgium. During the complete renovation and expansion respecting the authenticity of the building was priority number one.
The new building connects the historic part to an ecological construction. The new building meets the EPB regulation, using a heat pump and a green roof of 740 m2. After the installation of a green roof with Sempergreen Sedum-mix blankets, herbs were planted, to give the green roof a playful character.
