Along the A406 North Circular Road in London, located near the large Brent Cross Shopping Centre, a new noise barrier is built from natural materials. The bottom side of this retaining wall is covered with a SemperGreenwall Outdoor. The vertical wall plants measures a surface area of 420 m2.
Green air filter
The plants of this green façade have a positive impact on air quality of London, through the absorption of CO2 and particulate matter. An automatic irrigation system ensures that the plants are provided with water and nutrients in a controlled manner.
