The new practice facility for the Chicago Blackhawks ice hockey team is sporting a beautiful green roof. The new facility is a two-story ice complex that not only serves Chicago’s hometown NHL team, but will also be a community asset to the surrounding neighborhood.
The Blackhawks Community Training Center features a 23,728 square feet green roof powered by Sempergreen Sedum-mix blankets. The training center is expected to be complete by December 2017 and will operate 24 hours a day.
