In Zevenaar, the Netherlands, a long central reservation and traffic island have been greened. The 1100 m² Sedum ground cover used gives the street view a beautiful green appearance. The use of Sedum-mix blankets is the ideal solution for infrastructure applications. The Sedum plants contribute to the absorption of CO2 and particulate matter and provide more biodiversity in an urban environment.
Direct-green result with vegetation mats
By using vegetation mats instead of loose plants, the construction is very simple and this saves a huge amount of time. On delivery, the Sedum mix mats are always covered with a minimum of 95%, which gives a direct-green result. As a result, weeds have almost no chance of being blown in. The natural properties of Sedum make this succulent suitable for extreme weather conditions. In addition, Sedum does not need to be mowed, which makes maintenance minimal.
