At the Gerretson Square in the Dutch city of Eindhoven an outdated shopping center has been replaced by a striking new building in the shape of a snake, designed by van aken architecten. The courtyard - landscaped by Cityroofs – is designed as a roof garden with a tile walkway and a mix of wood and vegetation. To create the extensive vegetation Sedum-mix blankets as well as Wildflower vegetation blankets were used.
