In Kunming, capital of China's Yunnan province, two existing glass roofs were transformed into green roofs.

By applying a lightweight green roof system, it has been possible to create Sedum roofs on top of glass roofs. Strips of glass were left uncovered, with the purpose to serve as skylights for the underground parking. The surrounding apartments that overlook the building, no longer look at a glass roof, but at a beautiful green roof.
