In addition to the Traditional Green Roof, we offer the Sempergreen Solar Green Roof. This is a unique green roof not only covered with a Sedum or Sedum-herb mix, but also equipped with a mounting system for solar panels. This innovative system provides the benefits of more greenery as well as more green energy.  

Lightweight Green Roof

The Lightweight Sedum Roof is one of our most popular options, as it’s suitable for most flat and shallow pitched roofs and easy to install. Besides the lower weight, it offers similar advantages as other Sedum roof systems. This way, it’s still possible to grow plants on roofs, even on buildings which otherwise wouldn’t be able to carry the weight.  

Biodiverse Roof

Another interesting option is the Biodiverse Green Roof, which has been specifically designed to increase biodiversity. It offers a habitat for various plants, birds, butterflies and bees. Besides being an aesthetically pleasing solution, it makes a valuable contribution to urban biodiversity. On roofs which cannot carry the weight of a Biodiverse green roof, it is often still possible to install a (lightweight) Sedum roof. Blue-green roofs

The Detention and Retention roofs by Sempergreen are green roofs which can be used to store rainwater and gradually release it onto the street or into the sewers, thus lowering the risk of flooding. Retention roofs are suitable for flat zero fall roofs which are able to carry a certain amount of weight, and can be combined with Biodiverse blankets to create a roof full of wildflowers, for example.

The Detention roof is a system with a relatively low saturated weight which can be applied to roofs with a slope of 2 degrees or less. Ideal to implement on existing roofs! The use of blue-green roofs is becoming more popular in urban areas because of their ability to help with stormwater management and fostering sustainability. Pitched green roofs

For years, Sempergreen has been supplying green roof systems for every surface and roof pitch. For buildings with steep-sloped roofs, our pitched green roofs are the perfect solution for renovations as well as new developments. In addition, these steeply pitched green roof systems can be combined with solar panels.

Convenient Sedumtrays

The Sempergreen green roof cassettes make it even easier for professionals and consumers to create a green roof. First of all, the cassettes like the Click ’n go Light Sedumtray are relatively lightweight, hence suitable for roofs with a more limited load-bearing capacity. Secondly, the trays are easy to use, with an installation process of only a few steps. This makes Sempergreen Sedumtrays ideal for small roofs and for use by private individuals.
