Our double-sided, vertically mounted solar panels work seamlessly with both new and existing Sedum roofs. Thanks to the extra reflection of sunlight and natural cooling through evaporation from the vegetation, The Green Effect is created, allowing you to generate up to 40% more energy from your roof! 

With a weight of just 11 kg/m² and a simple Plug & Play system, installation is quick and hassle-free. In many cases, there's no need for additional roof reinforcement, ballast, or mechanical fixation!

At Sempergreen, we believe in leading by example. That’s why we apply our own sustainable innovations to our headquarters in Odijk, the Netherlands. Our existing green roof and solar panels already contributed to a greener future, but to become fully energy-neutral, we needed to take an extra step. 

We opted for our own innovative Over Easy Solar system: lightweight, vertical PV units that integrate perfectly with our green roof. With a weight of just 11 kg/m², the roof's load-bearing capacity remains intact, while the green roof stays fully preserved. Additionally, The Green Effect—the cooling effect of the green roof—increases solar panel efficiency by up to 30%.  

Thanks to this powerful combination, we now generate 9,360 kWh per year, allowing our office to run entirely on solar energy. This project demonstrates how innovation and sustainability come together in practice.
