House Lidwina in the Dutch village of Schijndel is a complex which was fully renovated in 2009. Architectenbureau VVKH from Leiden showed how a residential neighborhood can arise of a combination of redevelopment and new construction.
High-quality residential environment
In the former hospital apartments and a residential service area were included with several multipurpose rooms. In addition to the redevelopment of the existing House Lidwina there has also been a new development of 62 homes. In the outdoor area green areas are made by applying Sedum-mix blankets. These green zones add to the creation of a quality living environment for residents.
